Trump Permanently Banned From Twitter
Donald Trump has been permanently banned from Twitter, the micro-blogging social network said Friday.
Announcing the decision in a statement, the company said: “After a close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Trump’s Twitter account, which had more than 88 million followers, was temporarily blocked by the Twitter following the siege of Capitol Hill by pro-Trump protesters and warned that additional violations by the president’s accounts would result in a permanent suspension.
A number of Hollywood celebrities rejoice over Twitter’s permanent ban on Donald Trump:

This isn't about censorship or free speech. It's about protecting lives. Trump's words have now directly lead to 5 deaths & an attack on the US Capitol. Twitter/tech companies should always ban anyone who incites & encourages violence – especially when they have a big platform.
