Turkish President Erdogan arrives in Pakistan on a two-day state visit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives in Islamabad at the Noor Khan air base on a two-day official visit to Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan received the state guests and personally drove the Turkish president to the guest house.

This state visit of Turkish PM is being regarded as of great significance against the backdrop of regional and international developments and may fetch export and import orders for both sides.

A high-powered delegation comprises of cabinet ministers, senior government officials, as well as heads of CEOs of leading Turkish corporations are accompanying Erdogan on his visit, Reportedly, over 60 companies and 100 delegates.

According to a senior official from the commerce ministry said on Wednesday that the business to business interaction between Pakistan and Turkey is set for Thursday, meanwhile, the Turkish president will also address a joint session of the Parliament on February 14.

The business-to-business meetings will cover trade, investment, and cooperation on tourism, military procurement, cooperation in other areas of defense industry to energy, construct on, text le, food, livestock, import and export, airways, real state, tourism, consultancy trade, shipping, agriculture, jewelry, automotive, construction and production, tractor and engine, casting, paper production, and on-vehicle equipment.
