Renowned TV director, Syed Atif Hussain passes away

Renowned television director, the name behind the hit running drama Babban Khala Ki Betiyan, Syed Atif Hussain has passed away. The news was confirmed by fellow industry friend, Khaani famed writer, Asma Nabeel, who had earlier asked for prayers for Syed Atif Hussain, while he was critically ill and on the ventilator due to kidney failure.

Syed Atif Hussain was a well-known director from the younger breed of TV directors today. Hussain, with his knack for direction had many popular dramas like Laadon Mein Pali, Asmanon Pay Likha, Maryam, Iqraar and Beqasoor to his credit. His last drama probably was Babban Khala Ki Betiyan on ARY Digital.
