Twitter in uproar over Aftab Iqbal’s comments related to Ghazwa e Ahad on his show
Twitter has been in an uproar over Aftab Iqbal’s comments related to Ghazwa e Ahad.
Recent comments made on-air by host Aftab Iqbal turn out to be unacceptable for the Pakistani audience as during the show he linked skit performed by comedians to the situation of Muslims in Ghazwa e Ahad (The Battle of Uhud)
Aftab Iqbal in his show, Khabardar, on the private TV channel Express-News, had inappropriately mentioned the Companions (R.A.) regarding the battle of Uhud.
This is not the first time that the popular host has attracted criticism to his comments. This happens when the channels lack gatekeepers, When hosts the show also act as the executive producers, none can question their attitude and content of the programs.

Our demand is that this person has been found guilty of insulting the Companions and he should be punished severely immediately. If no legal action is taken against such a stinking person, then the government will be responsible for the situation. pic.twitter.com/M4LRGu4t01

Aftab Iqbal, a programmer called Khabardar, has hurled insults at the Companions of the Prophet. Will any organization take action on this harrassment?

#aftabiqbal has strongly condemned blasphemy against the Prophet PBUH of Islam and his Shabah karam R.A.. Strict international law should be enacted to end such incidents and ban every Islamic and non-Muslim country.#صحابہ_کا_گستاخ_آفتاب_اقبال pic.twitter.com/tLZIY9SV6E
