The senior journalist was on the guest panel appearing on the Geo New’s live show Report card and during the arguments, there was a verbal clash between him and analysis Reema Omar. Hassan Nisar stated his point of view that politics in Pakistan is a business, while Reema Omar tried to establish her counter-argument that in which country’s politics money does not take part.
Since the program went air, the hot discussion between Hassan Nisar and Reema Omar in the program has been trending on top on Twitter.
Here is how Twitter reacts to Hassan Nisar’s attitude towards a female analyst.
Hassan Nisar is a peak exhibit of toxic masculinity. Yelling is not a logic.— Saadia Ahmed (@khwamkhwah) December 28, 2020
Hassan Nisar never has anything to contribute to a debate, apart from: “Yeh sab bakwas hai.” Shouting doesn’t give weight to an opinion.— Amber Rahim Shamsi (@AmberRShamsi) December 28, 2020
He adds misogyny to his toxic mix of empty and bitter rhetoric, targeting @reema_omer who does use logic and facts for her arguments. pic.twitter.com/G1MDCKnebk
I agree with Hassan Nisar's opinion that money shouldn't be used in politics but shouting for no reason is disrespectful. https://t.co/x3i3fM4ElZ— Abdullah Imran (@AbdulaImran) December 28, 2020
