Twitter and internet services are reported to have been interrupted in several parts of the country as protests erupted nationwide following PTI chairman Imran Khan’s arrest.
Sources claim that the telecom service providers have been directed to shut down the internet service in all the major cities amid a law and order situation.
Meanwhile, social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are reportedly down for many users in Pakistan as they are unable to access the popular social media platforms on Tuesday evening.
As per the outage-tracking website, Downdetector.com, users are unable to log in to their accounts on all three platforms, meaning they also could not post or view anything.
Inbetween the fluctuations, a few social media users were able to share their concerns online.
