February 26, Twitter Remembers Balakot Air Strike and Abhinandan

Twitter remembers the famous ‘Balakot Air Strike‘, the first aerial assault carried out by India in Pakistan after the 1971 Indo-Pak war, as the event completes two years today.

From the other side of the border, The Balakot Air Strike was conducted around 3:00 am in response to the deadly Pulwama attack, alleging to hit terrorist hideout in Pakistani territory. However, the daylight exposed what the reality was!

While, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman VrC, an Indian Air Force fighter pilot during the 2019 India–Pakistan standoff, was held captive in Pakistan for 60 hours after his aircraft was shot down in an aerial dogfight by Pakistan Airforce.
