Twitter has taken down a video posted by the POTUS Donald Trump following a copyright complaint.
The two-minute 2020 campaign video was posted on Trump’s Twitter account on Tuesday, which featured the soundtrack to The Dark Knight Rises, which was the last film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman series.
The Company’s spokesperson in a statement said, “The use of Warner Bros.’ score from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in the campaign video was unauthorized. We are working through the appropriate legal channels to have it removed”.
The video was unavailable Tuesday night, just hours after Trump had posted it to Twitter.
It was replaced with a message saying, “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”
In just a few hours, the video was watched over 1 million times. It featured several Washington, D.C. landmarks, Hollywood stars like Bryan Cranston and longtime Trump rivals Rosie O’Donnell, plus political opponent Hillary Clinton, and a Fox News headline saying “Mueller report shows no proof Trump team conspired with Russia.”
The video was captioned by the POTUS: “Make America Great Again.”
