UK PM Theresa May says she will step down if Brexit deal gets delivered

Another dramatic turn in the Brexit crisis occurs after British Prime Minister Theresa May announced that she would step down if the Brexit deal gets delivered.

On conditions of anonymity, a lawmaker in Theresa’s party said Theresa would quit if the Brexit deal gets through the third time, making a last attempt persuade rebels in her Conservative party to back her.

Another lawmaker in the Conservative party said even though Theresa May hadn’t given a date, she would go real soon.

However, May’s dramatic announcement will only come into being if the Brexit deal gets delivered, but it still remains uncertain how, when or even if Britain will leave the European Union.
