Unvaccinated people not allowed to travel on the motorway from Sep 15

Unvaccinated people are not allowed to travel on the motorway from September 15!

The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) has made the announcement amid the ongoing fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

The NHMP stated that people should “get ready” and “get vaccinated” before September 15 and carry their vaccination certificates with them.

The announcement from NHMP is in line with similar curbs the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) announced in their media briefing on Tuesday.

According to the decision taken by the NCOC, unvaccinated people will not be allowed to use public transport from October 15.

While vaccination for domestic air travelers has been made mandatory after September 30.
