Usman Mukhtar bids farewell to Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay

Usman Mukhtar bids farewell to Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay as the last episode of the much-talked HUM TV drama premiered on Sunday night.

Usman Mukhtar who played the character of Aswad in the drama took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes

“What a journey. So thankful to be a part of a drama which explored so many variables and nuances of human interaction,” Usman wrote.

While acknowledging Aswad being a negative character and explaining his perception of playing him, Usman went on to say, “understandably Aswad was a relatively negative role to play, but as an actor, I’m blessed to have been given such a challenge.”

Paying tribute to his co-stars, he added,  “loved the acting of each and everyone in this drama.”

with special mentions for female leads Mahira Khan, Kubra Khan, and Huma Nawab, he went on to say, “it’s been an honour to work next to Mahira Khan and Kubra Khan. And of course, my onscreen mother Huma Nawab who I’m in awe of!”

The actor is also grateful to the writer Umera Ahmed for writing such drama and lauded producer Nina Kasif for producing it.

“And of course a special shoutout to the entire technical team from the sound department to the spot boys and also our ADs Atif Bhai and Shuja thank you for being so supportive and understanding,” he said.

“Thank you for all your support. Love you all,” he concluded.
