Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali included in World Cup squad

In a dramatic turn of events, Wahab Riaz has been recalled for the World Cup squad as selector ring in the changes after a poor England series for the bowlers. As expected Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali have also been added to the World Cup squad.

Junaid Khan, Faheem Ashraf and Abid Ali, were the players who made way. Chief selector Inzamam ul Haq, emphasized that they needed bowlers we could ball at good pace and reverse swing the ball. Hence, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir have been recalled. Junaid Khan’s fielding became a sticking point for him. Abid Ali was dropped after just one innings to accommodate Asif Ali, who had a decent series against England. Inzamam stressed that Mohammad Hafeez and Haris Sohail could be used as back up openers.
