Wasu receives financial assistance from Balochistan government
Wasu Khan, the famed character of Shehzad Roy’s songs Apne Ullo Kitne Tedhe and Beya Beya, has received financial assistance from Balochistan Government.
It was a few days ago when Baloch singer’s appeal for financial assistance went viral on social media and caught the attention of Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal.

Celebrity singer Shehzad took to social media to share the details of meeting with CM Balochistan along with Wasu.
Wasu and I met the CM today and Wasu informed him that he has sold the land,I had bought for him & requested CM to give him a house. @jam_kamal assured that he will do his best to help him . We also discussed about education reforms in #Balochistan pic.twitter.com/T2B1wmSPGB

In another tweet, he shared, for the last ten years he had been in touch with Wasu until he and his family contracted Corona.
While sharing a video message of Wasu, Shehzad wrote, “He did not call me, he said he didn’t want to trouble me more & wanted help from the govt. So I have come to Quetta to meet him, he asked me to take him to the CM, who we met, Here is Wasu sharing his story”.

the Government of Balochistan’s spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani, in a tweet, shared that the government will help Wasu in his treatment and provide him other financial assistance.
