Wesley Snipes reacts to Mahershala Ali’s casting as Blade

Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes who featured playing the original half-Vampire, half-mortal superhero Blade amongst pop culture nerds, has reacted to the news of the MCU rebooting Blade and Mahershala Ali being cast in the lead.

Blade is a half-Vampire, half-mortal superhero from the staple of Marvel Comics. Wesley Snipes has played the superhero in the film trilogy released in 1998, 2002 and 2004, all the three films have been a massive success at the box office.

After coming to know about MCU announcement, Wesley Snipes who had earlier expressed his desire to return to the character came forward endorsing the decision casting Mahersala Ali in the titular role.

Wesley Snipes said: “To all the DAYWALKERS losing their minds right now, chillaaxx. Although the news comes as a surprise, it’s ALL GOOD. Such is the ‘business’ of ‘entertainment!’

After getting the original Blade’s endorsement, Mahershala paid his respect to Wesley Snipes by posting a picture of him as the superhero.

 Afterwards, in another message to Marvel Studios, Wesley tweeted, ““VAMPIRE BREAKING NEWS!” Message from THE DAYWALKER…Hey MCU, Haven’t we been down this road before? Aye yah, some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill …hahaha.” #daywalkerklique”.
