#WhatsappDown: Popular messaging app facing server issues worldwide
Messaging app, WhatsApp is having widespread issues in uploading and downloading of media for users around the globe due to a major outage.
The popular messaging app on Sunday morning showed errors in media transfer as hundreds of people worldwide reported issues, though WhatsApp is yet to publicly acknowledge the problem.
#whatsappdown started trending on micro-blogging website Twitter as a large number of reports from users stated that the popular app is currently down or not working. People are not only unable to post pictures, gifs, and videos to other users but also facing issues in uploading the statuses.
According to reports, Europe is the worst affected region right now, though parts of Asia and South America also face severe disruption.
