Will Imran Khan be arrested?
On Tuesday, a heavy contingent of police reached Lahore’s Zaman Park in a bid to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakana case — the only case in which his arrest warrant is not suspended.
The development comes as a district and sessions court in Islamabad restored the former prime minister’s non-bailable arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case a day earlier.
A team of Islamabad police arrived in Lahore on Monday to comply with the court orders that had directed authorities to arrest the former prime minister who is facing a number of cases filed against him in different cities.
