Will Imran Khan be arrested?
On Tuesday, a heavy contingent of police reached Lahore’s Zaman Park in a bid to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakana case — the only case in which his arrest warrant is not suspended.
The development comes as a district and sessions court in Islamabad restored the former prime minister’s non-bailable arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case a day earlier.
A team of Islamabad police arrived in Lahore on Monday to comply with the court orders that had directed authorities to arrest the former prime minister who is facing a number of cases filed against him in different cities.
PTI’s Lahore and Islamabad wing has directed its workers to reach Zaman Park.
Social media is currently filled with clips showing the police movement Zaman Park in Lahore to arrest former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
