As per the announcement made by the Sindh govt., the winter vacations will be observed from December 20 to January 2.
The Punjab government has announced to observe the winter vacations from December 23 to January 6.
Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas in a tweet shared on Friday urged the parents to get their children vaccinated and follow the SOPs issued by the government.
“All public and private schools of Punjab to remain closed for winter vacation starting December 23rd,” he said.
The Balochistan government has revised the winter vacation schedule it issued on December 2.
The public and private schools in the “summer zone” of the Balochistan province will begin winter vacations from December 25 till January 4.
According to the notification, schools in the “winter zone” are closed till February 28, 2022.
In plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, schools will observe holidays from January 3 to 12, while in the hilly areas winter vacations will be from December 24 to February 28.
A formal notification issued by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department on Friday stated:
“In pursuance of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) decision, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department has notified winter vacations for all the public and private educational institutions in the province.”
A day earlier, NCOC announced that winter vacations for educational institutions will commence from January 3, 2022, across the country.
