You cannot build the State of Madina by broadcasting Ertugrul show, Senator Mushtaq
Ertugrul show is the most hyped thing in Pakistan currently after the coronavirus pandemic. And it was also discussed during today’s Senate Session.
“You cannot build the State of Madina by broadcasting the Ertugrul show,” said JI Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan.
The Senator was taking a dig at the PTI government.
As PM Imran Khan had said watching this drama would be good for the youth to learn about Muslim History.
JI Senator lambasted the government for its meager financial assistance provided to lower-income people, saying that Rs3,000 are not enough for a family to buy basic supplies that would last a month.
He further suggested that the government abolish interest rates so that people would borrow loans from banks.
A dubbed version of the Turkish drama Diriliş Ertuğrul is currently being aired on PTV Home on Prime Minister’s request.
