Zainab Kay Qatil will be written by well known writer Umera Ahmed. Umera Ahmed, recently developed Qandeel Baloch’s life story for Baaghi as well and one is hoping with Umera Ahmed’s sensitive style of writing, the telefilm will bring forth Zainab’s story with great care and sensitivity.

Pakistan is a nation that suffers from the plague of pedophilia, the type that is on a perpetual rise in the country. And therefore, addressing the issue with great care and tact, which focuses on educating the masses rather than exciting the pedophiles will be absolutely necessary.

The telefilm, Zainab Kay Qatil is being produced by Imran Ali and directed by Aamir Yousaf. The telefilm will star young Hamna Amir as Zainab, and Suhail Sameer as Imran. Saba Faisal, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Aijaz Aslam and Irfan Khoosat will also be seen playing pivotal roles in the telefilm as well.
