Zulfiqar Bukhari under harsh criticism following negotiations with Hazara protestors
Zulfiqar Bukhari under harsh criticism following negotiations with Hazara protestors in Quetta on Tuesday night.
Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari, also known as Zulfi Bukhari, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan had arrived in Quetta along with Federal Minister Ali Zaidi to negotiate with sit-in protestors of Hazara Community.
A video clip showing SAPM Zulfiqar Bukhari in the midst of a meeting with Haraza protestors went viral on social media, showing his arrogance towards the committee representing slain Hazara coal miners families.
Following the backlash, SAPM in a tweet tried to clear the air by saying his talk was taken out of context.
In his social media message, Zulfiqar Bukhari wrote: People in the video clip aren’t victim families nor is it complete convo Sitting in cozy homes and trying to do politics on Shuhda is despicable specially without knowing facts/context. We shouldn’t side with the enemy, have trust & pray their pain eases rather than play on it”.

Here is how social media reacts to Zulfi Bukhari’s conversation during the negotiations with Hazara protestors:
1. Never send an arrogant person with no empathy to console anyone.
2. DO NOT start a negotiation with people who are grieving.
3. DO NOT look down upon anyone!
4. When consoling, be kind and listen.
5. DO NOT be like Zulfi Bukhari or Imran Khan

Even if they weren’t the victims’ families they were ulema speaking to a Govt rep on their behalf – also not sure what the “complete convo” would be – whatever has been caught on tape is pretty much damming
Sometimes it’s just better to issue an apology pic.twitter.com/5831GqJ7Tv

This is absolutely bizarre & unacceptable.Instead of offering condolences, showing concern/sympathy/solidarity with the persecuted, targeted, long suffering & in mourning Hazara's this cold-hearted & cruel Advisor has the audacity to ask what will be PM's benefit if he visits them?
