Having started off her domestic career in Central Districts, wicketkeeper Priest eventually got called up to represent New Zealand A in early 2007. Her international debut arrived half a year later in a T20I against Australia, followed soon by her WODI debut in the same tour. A testament to how incredible her career graph has been ever since is her knock of 157 against Sri Lanka in 2015, which made her the first and only wicketkeeper batswoman to record a 150+ score in WODI cricket. It also became the highest individual score by a batswoman wicketkeeper in the format. 2015 ended up becoming a year to remember for Priest, with the Kiwi amassing 592 WODI runs at an incredible average of 53.81. Priest has also had stints with the Kia Super League and Women's Big Bash League, appearing for Western Storm and Sydney Thunder respectively.
Priest became the first woman to hit a T20 domestic hundred when she struck 106* from 74 balls against Otago in 2012-13.
