A Brazilian paraglider was killed in a paragliding crash in Gilgit Baltistan on Thursday.

As reported, Brazilian paraglider Raineri Rodrigo Chadded was killed in an accident in the Shigar district’s Askole during paragliding.

The accident occurred while he was flying over the Shigar district’s Askole Valley and encountered technical difficulties, leading to a crash.

Shigar Deputy Commissioner Waliur Rehman Hami confirmed the paraglider’s death.

Paragliding is an adventure sport using a modified parachute. The lightweight, inflatable wing, is motorless and can be foot-launched with the opportunity to glide or climb upwards.

It’s a sport that combines the thrills of flying with the peacefulness of soaring through the sky.
