Babar Azam conferred with, third-highest civilian honor, Sitara-e-Imtiaz

Babar Azam has been conferred with, the third-highest civilian honor, Sitara-e-Imtiaz on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2023.

Pakistan all-format captain Babar Azam has become the youngest person to be awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz at the age of 28 for his outstanding achievements in the field of cricket.

He was given the medal by Governor Punjab Mohammad Baligh Ur Rehman at a ceremony held at the Governor House in Lahore on Thursday.

After receiving the honor, Babar Azam dedicated his medal to his parents, fans, and the people of Pakistan.

Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed previously held the record as the youngest person to be awarded the prestigious award.

From a ball boy to the youngest player to win Sitara-e-Imtiaz, congratulations are in order for Babar Azam.
