Babar is among the top players with the most ducks in PSL history!

Babar Azam, the captain of Peshawar Zalmi, has set an unwanted record during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 match against Quetta Gladiators.

He was dismissed for a duck in the very first over by Mohammad Amir, marking his eighth duck in PSL history.

This unfortunate milestone places him among the top players with the most ducks in the league’s history, equaling Kamran Akmal and surpassing Shaheen Afridi, who has seven ducks.

The record for the most ducks in PSL history is currently held by Imad Wasim with 12, followed by Wahab Riaz with 10. Babar’s dismissal further highlights his struggles in recent PSL seasons, adding pressure on him as both a player and captain of Peshawar Zalmi.

In the match itself, Quetta Gladiators posted a formidable total of 216/3, powered by fifties from Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen. Peshawar Zalmi faltered in their chase, managing only 136 runs in 15.1 overs, resulting in an 80-run defeat. Abrar Ahmed was the standout bowler for Quetta with figures of 4/42.
