Almost a year after the fight outside a night club, Ben Stokes has found not guilty of affray by the jury. The all-rounder who has been in and out of the England side since the incident will breathe a sigh of relief after the decision.
After a much publicized trial in which accusations thrown from both side, Ryan Ali who took punches from Stokes was also not found guilty. The brawl took place after England’s match in Bristol against West Indies.
Mr Stokes and Mr Ali shook hands as they left the dock.
ECB is yet to comment on the decision, however they had kept the door open for the Durham to make a comeback in the side for the ongoing India series.
