Boxer Amir Khan’s documentary gets a premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in London
The announcement came from the Pakistani-British boxer Amir Khan that a documentary named “Team Khan”, featured on him will premiere at the Radiance film festival in London. As being reported, this documentary film will have a wider release later this year. More details to be revealed soon.
The 31-year old boxer in a social media post shared, “Excited to announce that TEAM KHAN, a feature documentary about me is having its World Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in London, this Saturday, 29th of September. Last few tickets are available through the Raindance website. See you there!”

It was also revealed that the film has also received a nod for being nominated for the Best UK Feature and Best Cinematography at Raindance Film Festival.
In an online statement, the documentary’s production team has lauded the boxer online saying, “Over the course of two years we spent countless hours watching Amir train under the tutelage of Virgil Hunter. The skill, dedication and athleticism we witnessed in those sessions was incredible to see up close.”

The documentary is a joint project of Australian film-makers Blair Macdonald and Oliver Clark of Novemba Films.
