The one-day series between West Indies and Pakistan has been postponed after more COVID positive cases in the West Indies camp/
Five more positive cases were reported in the West Indies camp on Thursday following Wednesday’s PCR testing.
The total number of positive cases in the West Indies camp has surged to nine since their arrival in Karachi on December 9.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the series has been postponed after five more corona cases came positive in the West Indies camp.
The two cricket boards issued a joint statement postponing the series, according to which the series will be rescheduled.
Earlier in the day, the third and final match of the T20I series faced uncertainty after several WI players tested positive for COVID-19.
But the match started at 6 PM at the National Stadium Karachi as the fresh round of tests came back negative.
