Football returns to field with odd sights from Bundesliga’s match behind closed doors

Football made the come to the field in Germany though with the odd sights, as the Bundesliga’s match was played behind the closed doors.

The pandemic had kept the world sports to a pause before Germany’s football league Bundesliga chose to resume the game behind closed doors with no audience in presence.

German supporters have termed these matches “Geisterspiele” or ghost games as they were not allowed into the stadium.

Borussia Dortmund hammered local rivals Schalke in an echoing Signal Iduna Park. Raphael Guerreiro scored twice, while Erling Braut Haaland and Thorgan Hazard also scored in with a goal each as Borussia Dortmund registered a 4-0 win over Schalke.
