Pakistan’s Emerging Asia Cup win has sparked former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan’s “Padosion Sunday kesa raha? meme fest!
Pakistan A made the nation proud by thrashing India A by 128 runs in the Emerging Asia Cup final in Colombo on Sunday, and the victory reminded many cricket fans of an old tweet by Irfan Pathan.
Pakistan Shaheens put a mammoth 352-8 against India A after being put to bat first thanks to the aggressive century of young Tayyab Tahir.
Pathan had mocked Pakistan with a tweet saying “Padosion Sunday kesa raha? (How was the Sunday neighbours?)”, when the Green team lost to India in a World Cup match on October 23, 2022.
