Football legend Diego Maradona, 60, dies of a heart attack
Argentian football legend Diego Maradona, has passed away suffering a heart attack on Wednesday.
As being reported, the legendary football star had a heart attack at his home just two weeks after leaving the hospital where he underwent surgery for a blood clot in his brain.
Former Argentina captain and coach, took over Gimnasia y Esgrima in Argentina’s top flight earlier this September.
Maradona, regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, helped Argentina win the World Cup in 1986, the pinnacle of an illustrious career.
Maradona was responsible for the offensive ‘Hand of God’ that eliminated England from the 1986 tournament.
However, his career was also marred with controversies related to the usage of drugs and alcohol addiction.
