Haris Rauf has been appointed honorary DSP in Islamabad Police on Tuesday.
The Islamabad Police appointed Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf as a goodwill ambassador and an honorary DSP.
In a special ceremony, IGP Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan conferred the honorary rank of DSP on Haris Rauf.
“I’m truly honoured to be appointed as a goodwill ambassador of @ICT_Police and an even greater honour to be able to wear this uniform as our heroes who lay their lives in the line of duty,” the fast pacer said in a tweet.
Rauf also thanked Islamabad IG Dr Akbar Nasir Khan and the Islamabad police for recognising his services to Pakistan.
