Pakistan’s Haris Rauf has been awarded the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November 2024, recognizing his outstanding contributions during Pakistan’s tour of Australia.
His performance was instrumental in leading the team to its first ODI series victory in Australia in 22 years.
Rauf excelled throughout the month, taking 10 wickets across three ODIs against Australia, which included a remarkable five-wicket haul of 5/29 in the second ODI, helping Pakistan level the series after an initial loss. This performance not only showcased his bowling prowess but also contributed significantly to Pakistan’s eventual 2-1 series win.
In addition to his ODI success, Rauf continued to impress in the T20I series that followed, where he secured another five wickets, including a four-wicket haul in Sydney. By the end of November, his total wicket tally across all formats reached 18, solidifying his position as a leading bowler in international cricket during that period.
