Pak vs Eng: Hasan Ali to miss the first T20I

Hasan Ali is to miss the first T20I against England to be played today (Friday).

The team management has decided to give a rest to the right-arm pacer who strained his leg.

As being reported, Ali strained his left leg during a practice session on Thursday at Trent Bridge.

The fast bowler will now be assessed ahead of the second T20I, following which a decision on his participation will be made.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Hasan Ali has been rested as a precautionary measure due to a strain in his left leg, which he picked during a training session at Trent Bridge on Thursday.

Before the start of the three-match One-Day International Series, Pakistan had lost its middle-order batsman, Haris Sohail, to a leg injury.
Pakistan lost the ODI series to the hosts by 3-0.
