So far six centuries have been scored in the first three days of the ongoing test match.
On day 3 of the ongoing test series, openers Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique completed their centuries today chasing a mammoth England total of 657 runs.
The openers broke the record for the highest opening stand for Pakistan in Test cricket with their 225-run partnership versus England.
Imam-ul-Haq scored 121, while Abdullah Shafique hit 114 in the record-breaking partnership.
Pakistan’s Mohsin Hassan and Shoaib Muhammad previously held this record for their 173-run opening partnership against England in 1984.
On Day-1 of the test, England became the first team to score 500 runs on the opening day.
