PSL X: Karachi Kings Edge Out Multan Sultans in Thrilling Encounter

Karachi Kings defeated Multan Sultans in a nail-biting contest during the third match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 on Saturday at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.

Chasing a daunting 235, Karachi Kings reached the target in the final over, with 6 wickets down.

James Vince’s ton and Khushdil Shah’s fifty led Karachi Kings to grab an impressive win by 4 wickets.

The match saw Karachi Kings winning the toss and opting to field first, inviting Multan Sultans to bat.

Multan openers Mohammad Rizwan and Shai Hope got off to a solid start, putting up 55 runs for the first wicket before Hope was dismissed for 8. Usman Khan followed soon after, scoring 19 runs.

Captain Mohammad Rizwan stole the spotlight with the tournament’s first century, remaining unbeaten on 105 off 63 balls, including 5 sixes and 9 fours. Kiwi all-rounder Michael Bracewell added a fiery 44 off just 17 balls, while Kamran Ghulam contributed 36 runs.

Multan Sultans posted a mammoth total of 234 for 3 in their 20 overs.

For Karachi Kings, Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, and Khushdil Shah picked up a wicket each.
