Premier League champion Liverpool crushed by Aston Villa (7-2)

Liverpool, reigning English champion was thrashed by Aston Villa (7-2) for the fourth day of the Premier League at Villa Park on Sunday.
During tonight’s match nothing seemed to go in the Reds favour, Liverpool were down 4-1 at the break with a hat-trick from Ollie Watkins.
Even Jürgen Klopp was seen laughing on the sidelines after the 6th goal of Jack Grealish (6-2, 66th), the third scored by the Birmingham club on a shot deflected by a defender of the Reds.
Such a huge defeat was unheard of since 1963 for the Reds. Liverpool had not conceded 7 goals in the league since a loss by the same score against Tottenham back in 1963 and, never, an outgoing English champion had not received 7 goals since a 7-1 conceded by Arsenal at Sunderland in 1953.

Fir all sorts of reasons, think this will be a very odd PL season and there'll be more days like today for top clubs. Expect Liverpool to win title again but with much lower points tally to last time.
