Pakistan’s Mahnoor Ali and Harmas Raja achieved remarkable success at the 2024 U.S. Junior Squash Open, clinching the U13 and U11 titles, respectively at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center on December 17.

This tournament marked a significant achievement for Egypt as it secured both U19 titles for the first time in its thirty-five-year history. The event showcased a total of 1,007 players from 51 nations, highlighting its status as the world’s largest individual squash tournament.

Mahnoor Ali made history by becoming the first Pakistani female player to win the Girls’ Under-13 title. In a thrilling final, she faced Egypt’s top seed, Linda Elsayed, and triumphed with scores of 11-8, 12-10, 5-11, and 11-6. This victory not only highlights her talent but also marks a significant achievement for Pakistani squash on an international stage.

Harmas Raja, competing in the Boys’ Under-11 category, showcased his dominance by winning all matches without dropping a single game. He secured the championship by defeating American player Archibald Anolik in straight sets, with a score of 11-8, 11-8, and 11-8.
