Malak Faisal wins first place in Figure Skating, Innsbruck Austria

Malak Faisal Zafar has won big at the international competition for figure skating in Austria.

The 12-year-old, Pakistan’s first-ever figure skater grabbed the first position in the two-day Basic Novice Girls II category at the 24th International Eiscup Innsbruck 2019.

Zafar stood out at the event among other participants who mostly belonged to the European countries, bringing immense pride to Pakistan.

Malak started skating when she was just 5-years old and became a professional figure skater at the age of 9.

Her dream now is to represent Pakistan in the Winter Olympics.
