Martin Guptill first 100 of PSL 2023 helps Quetta Gladiators win against Karachi Kings
Quetta Gladiators’ Martin Guptill scored the first 100 of PSL 2023 aiding his side to win against Karachi Kings in the sixth match of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi.
Quetta registered its first win in the tournament. Whereas, Karachi King has now lost three matches in a row.
Opener Martin Guptill scored a ton as Quetta Gladiators recovered against Karachi Kings after losing quick wickets.
Quetta posted 168-7 in 20 overs after being asked to bat first by Karachi.
The New Zealand cricketer hit pacer Andrew Tye for 30 runs in the 19th over of the innings to reach his century.
Guptill scored 117 runs in 67 balls, with the help of 12 fours and five sixes, and was dismissed on the final ball of the innings.
