Messi leads Argentina into World Cup 2022 final

Argentina beat Croatia 3-0 to enter the finals

Messi has successfully led Argentina into World Cup 2022 final!

The Tuesday night semifinal saw Argentina’s best performance of the tournament so far. Probably.

Julian Alvarez’s brace and Lionel Messi’s goal helped Argentina beat Croatia 3-0 to enter the finals.

Lionel Messi scored a first-half penalty to give Argentina the lead, while Julian Alvarez scored on either side of halftime, securing his team’s victory against Croatia, who looked a bit jaded.

In the match played at Lucille Stadium, Argentina’s captain and famous player Lionel Messi once again showed his best performance and scored a 34th minute plenty kick to give his team a 0-1 lead.

Later, Julian Alvarez scored another goal in the 39th minute to brighten Argentina’s chances of victory.

By the end of the first half, Argentina was leading the semifinal by 0-2.

In the second half, Croatia tried hard to score but could not find any success.

While in the 69th minute, Argentina’s Julian Alvarez scored his second goal and third for his team.

The Croatian team failed to score a goal despite their efforts, and it was apparently a one-sided contest for Argentina to reach the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Lionel Messi also became the first player to score and assist in 3 different games, in a single edition of a World Cup, since 1966.
