Pakistan was bowled out for 366 in their first innings on Wednesday, day two of the second Test against England in Multan.

Debutant Kamran Ghulam led the hosts with a fluent 118, while Saim Ayub added a valuable 77. For England, spinner Jack Leach (4-114) and seamer Brydon Carse (3-50) stood out with impressive bowling performances. England currently lead the three-Test series 1-0.

England’s bowlers capitalized on the hazy second morning in Multan, taking five wickets in the first hour, but Pakistan’s tail, led by Aamer Jamal and Noman Ali, added 108 crucial runs.

Aamer, Pakistan’s lone seamer, battled through injury to score 37 before falling to Brydon Carse, while Noman’s clever sweeps pushed Pakistan’s innings further.

Jack Leach claimed his fourth wicket, ending Noman’s innings at 32 and finishing with 4 for 114.

England’s sharp bowling, particularly from Carse and Potts, ensured early breakthroughs, but Pakistan fought back to avoid a collapse.

England leads the three-match series 1-0.
