Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has broken another One Day International record.
In the first ODI against South Africa, the Pakistani captain managed to score 103 runs in a classy inning becoming the fastest batsman in the world to score 13 ODI centuries.
No one has reached 13 centuries quicker than the Pakistan skipper!
Azam who is currently placed at number 2, took only 76 innings to score 13 tons in the 50-over format.
Quickest batsman to hit 13 ODI hundreds (number of innings) ar as follows:
Babar Azam in 76 innings
Hashim Amla in 83 innings
Virat Kohli 86 in innings
Quinton de Kock in 86 innings
David Warner in 91 innings
According to a cricket statistician, Babar Azam can surpass Virat Kohli who is currently ranked no 1, to become the best batsman in the world in the 50-over format.
