Pakistan A pummel England Lions in the 1st 50 over contest

On a day, when we saw painstakingly patient batting from Haris Sohail and Babar Azam, Pakistan A scored over 350 runs against England Lions going on the win the game by 187 runs. This comes after they chased over 300 runs in the 4 day game.

The hero from that chase Abid Ali, was instrumental in this victory as well. Test opener Shan Masood, and he had a partnership of 276 runs. Shan Masood scored 161 run of 134 balls, while Abid Ali wasn’t far behind with a 140 of 134 balls. Pakistan finished off with a 351-4 in their 50 overs.

In reply, England were never really in it, and were bowled out for 164 inside 33 overs. Karachi Kings recruit, Liam Livingstone top scored with 35. Islamabad United duo, Amad Butt and Waqas Maqsood picked up 4 wickets each.

Pakistan A lead England Lions 1-0 in the series.
