Pakistan stays alive in the race for the semis with the win over China, which is also their first victory in the ongoing Asian Champions Trophy after a loss and two draws.
Sufiyan Khan scored the first goal on the penalty corner in the second quarter.
Afraz Khan pushed the second goal in the third quarter sealing Pakistan’s victory against China.
China’s only goal was scored by Ji Xiang in the third quarter.
Following this defeat, China was out of the race for the semi-final.
Pakistan is in fourth place after gaining its first win in the ongoing tournament.
On Sunday, Pakistan drew a match against Japan by 3-3.
Pakistan will play against India in its next match on August 9.
