Pakistan U15 football team were off to a rollicking start in the SAFF U15 Championship as they beat much fancied India side 2-1 in the opening game. The tournament is being held in Nepal.

Pakistan started the game on the front foot as pressed India early. In the 30th minute Adnan Justin left foot pile driver gave Pakistan the lead. It was powerful strike from the edge of the box. India came back strongly at the start of the 2nd half and equalized in the 55th minutes.  Thlacheu Vanlalruatfela scored the goal.

However, Pakistan key substitute Wasif scored the winner with 5 minutes to the 90. India pressed again but Pakistan held on for the win. The players were perhaps inspired by the video message sent by Kaka before the game. This is what the Brazilian legend had to say.
