Pakistan Bowled Out for Just 117 Runs in Final T20 Against Australia in Hobart

The hosts have already won T20I series 2-0 against the green shirts

In the third and final T20 match played in Hobart, the entire Pakistani cricket team was bowled out for a mere 117 runs against Australia.

This disappointing performance highlights ongoing challenges within the team’s batting lineup, as they struggled to build partnerships and score effectively throughout the innings.

Choosing to bat first, the touring Pakistani team struggled to put runs on the board, managing only 117 runs before being dismissed on the very first delivery of the penultimate over.

The new opening partnership of Sahibzada Farhan and Babar Azam failed to provide a solid foundation, with Farhan departing in the second over after scoring just nine runs off seven balls.

Following this early setback, Babar and Haseebullah Khan formed a brief but crucial 44-run partnership for the second wicket, appearing to stabilize the innings against the Australian bowlers.

However, their momentum was halted when Adam Zampa dismissed Haseebullah in the seventh over; he contributed 24 runs from 19 balls, including three boundaries.

The situation worsened for Pakistan as they lost two more quick wickets—Usman Khan for three and captain Salman Ali Agha for one—before Babar was bowled by Zampa in the 13th over, leaving Pakistan at a precarious 91 runs. Babar emerged as the top scorer for his side, making 41 runs off 28 balls with four fours.

As wickets continued to tumble, Pakistan slipped further to 92/7 after losing two more batsmen in quick succession. Shaheen Shah Afridi showed some resistance with a spirited cameo of 16 runs, which included two fours and a six. After his dismissal, the team could only add one more run to their total before being overwhelmed by a relentless Australian bowling attack.
