Pakistan wins the toss and put India to bat first

Will rain play spoilsport in today's match in New York?

Pakistan after winning the toss, has put India to bat first in the 19th match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The high-octane clash is about to start shortly at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York if rain doesn’t play spoilsport in today’s match.

According to AccuWeather, there was a 43 per cent chance of rain before the start of the tie, a probability which rose to 54 per cent at 11 am New York time.

The match between traditional rivals Pakistan and India was supposed to start at 7:30 pm (PST), but the toss could not be done on time due to heavy rain in and around the stadium.

The match will start at 8 pm (PST).

The Green Shirts are seeking redemption after the humiliating loss against the USA in their tournament opener.

Pakistan has made one change in their team. All-rounder Imad Wasim has been included the team in place of Azam Khan.
