PSL X Match-27: Karachi Kings Beat Peshawar Zalmi by 23 Runs to Qualify for Playoffs
Zalmi skipper Babar Azam’s gutsy 94-run knock goes in vain.

In the 27th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 23 runs and secured a spot in the playoffs.
The match was played in Rawalpindi, where Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, Karachi Kings posted a massive total of 237 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Captain David Warner led the charge with a brilliant 86-run knock, while James Vince scored 72.
Khushdil Shah remained unbeaten on 43 and Mohammad Nabi contributed 26 not out.
From Peshawar Zalmi, Luke Wood took 2 wickets, while Ali Raza and Arif Yaqoob claimed one wicket each.
In response, Peshawar Zalmi managed 214 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Babar Azam stood out with 94 runs, and Saim Ayub added 47.
With this win, Karachi Kings have qualified for the playoffs, joining Quetta Gladiators, who had already secured their spot earlier.
Currently, Islamabad United have 10 points from 9 matches, while Lahore Qalandars have 9 points from 9 matches. Multan Sultans have been eliminated from the tournament.
