HBL PSL X: Quetta Gladiators Beat Peshawar Zalmi by 80 Runs

In the second match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Quetta Gladiators secured a dominating victory against Peshawar Zalmi by 80 runs at Karachi’s National Stadium on Sunday. 

Quetta Gladiators’ Innings:
After losing the toss and being sent to bat first, Quetta Gladiators posted an impressive total of 216/3 in their allotted 20 overs.

Captain Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen provided a solid start with an 88-run partnership.

Saud scored 59 runs, while Allen contributed 53. Other notable performances included Hassan Nawaz (41), Kusal Mendis (35), and Rilee Rossouw (21).

Peshawar Zalmi’s bowlers Ali Raza, Sufiyan Muqeem, and Joseph each took one wicket.

Peshawar Zalmi’s Innings:
Chasing a daunting target of 217, Peshawar Zalmi faltered and were bowled out for just 136 runs in the 16th over.

Saim Ayub stood out with a half-century (50 runs), while Hussain Talat added 35 and Mitchell Owen scored 31.

QG’s bowlers were exceptional, with Abrar Ahmed claiming four wickets, and Mohammad Amir and Usman Tariq taking two each.

This commanding win highlights Quetta Gladiators’ strong start to the tournament, showcasing both their batting depth and bowling prowess.
